DAF Remote Updates
How remote updates work
1: Update notification
When a new update is available, a message will appear in the display of your instrument panel.
2. Run the update at your next stop
- Park the vehicle in a safe location
- Apply the parking brake
- Switch off the engine
- Do not switch off the ignition
- Minimise power consumption
3. Start the update
On the display: select “Start update” and follow the instructions on the screen.
4. During the update
Important:
- Do not move the vehicle
- Do not switch off the ignition
- Do not interrupt the update
The duration may vary depending on the update.
5. Update completed
After successful installation, a confirmation appears in the display. Your vehicle is ready to drive again!
